The Iwasaki family is about as skilled as you can get when it comes to making razors. Using only the finest carbon steel, this blade is handcrafted in every sense. Iwasaki razors have incredible edge retention, so they are sure to last a lifetime or two with proper care and are capable of taking an incredibly silky edge. The shape of the head makes it easier to shave with, and the unwrapped steel handle is comfortable and simple.
This blade is meant to be held in your right hand and functions best this way, but can easily be used by a lefty as well. Kamisori tends to be a very ergonomic type of razor to use, especially for shaving smaller areas like beard edges and underarms. One side is honed like a standard razor, while the opposite side is concave, at a zero angle. This means a standard angle can be used on the beveled side, but a narrower angle must be used on the backside.

If you've ever stopped by the shop and seen these beauties or heard the lore, you know these are some of the rarest knives we get and that barely scratches the surface as to what makes them so cool.
About Kageura - Born in 1942, Ken Kageura is a 25th generation blacksmith and has been making knives for over half a century. Hailing from the city of Yusuhara on Shikoku Island, his methods are super cool; old school and modern all at the same time. Kaguera-san puts more effort than most into making his knives. The primary example of this is his penchant for recycled materials. He often uses scrap metal in the form of discarded hand tools, or even a ship’s hull to clad his high quality carbon steel creations. The result is something unlike any other blacksmith’s work we know of.

Ox-Head, or Ochsenkopf in German, stands proudly as Germany's oldest axe maker. Based in Wuppertal, their name has been synonymous with quality since they began forging in 1781. Ox-Head is renowned throughout the world for their quality axes, nowadays forging from C60 Tool steel, known for its extreme toughness. This guarantees a long life of reliable splitting, chopping, and anything else you throw at your Ox-Head axe.
While traditional double-bit axes were made for use in logging camps, this bad boy is purely crafted for competitive throwing. From the concave edges that stick into targets more easily to the straight, skinny handle, this double bit is a frequent favourite of competitors in The Lumberjack Championships.

Chris is a wildly talented blacksmith from Calgary, Alberta, who started forging because of his love for the art of knifemaking. When you hold one of his knives, his passion for the craft is clear. It comes out in the finish of the blades, the fit of the sheathes, the polish of the handles. Every detail is immaculate, just like a meal plated by a michelin-star chef. A background as a chef, baker and even archeologist are some of the factors that make him such a unique blacksmith. He draws inspiration from everything that he’s learned over the years

Cordovan is the Cadillac of leathers, and easily the best for stropping. Its incredibly fine and abundant pores give is incredible 'pull', meaning it straightens the edge of your razor better than conventional strops.
A strop is a must for your blade. By stropping properly on a regular basis, you can avoid sharpening your razor as often and help it last longer. Sorta like brushing your teeth often to help you avoid the dentist. Ezra Arthur strops are extremely solid and designed to have the leather or canvas portion easily replaceable in the event of a stropping disaster.
