Will make you want to chop some wood

"This book is absolutely outstanding. You can tell the author is very informed and passionate about the topics covered, and the book makes for a very pleasant reading experience. It covers how to handle wood from the tree right to the woodstove or fireplace. It will make you want to go outside, chop a tree, split some logs, and build a hearty fire! It honestly is a nice call to reconnect around a fire, in (as the book calls it) one of the oldest ways for people to reconnect."

Unexpectedly good read

"I've made a lot of campfires over my life. But this book explained what I already knew and showed me all the things I didn't know about fires in a way that made me want to have a couple of more fires just to try out the techniques."

Aaron J. (5/5)

What an interesting read!

"I purchased this book a little while ago Along with the Agelson mini hatchet. and I have to say it’s an interesting read thus far! Very informative :) As for the hatchet; I love it! I’ve used it for kindling and for making feather sticks to start of bonfires. Works like a charm! Takes a little bit of trial and error with getting the right angle but once you got it you’re good to go! :)"
