Large felling axe designed for competition and serious chopping. The design of the head is inspired by Australian Racing Pattern Axes, polished and heavy with a convex grind edge. The long and curved handle in American hickory provides maximum speed and force when felling trees.

For Internet orders our goal is to respond in 24 hours and ship the purchase as soon as possible.

Customs agency in each country has rights to detain and inspect packages entering the country. When the package is sent to a Customs Agent, significant delay can occur. Loss, Breakage or Discrepancies in Shipments
If there are any problems with your order, please notify us within 48 hours of receipt. Kent of Inglewood will not be responsible for any claims made after 48 hours. For breakage resulting from carrier transit, please keep the entirety of original item(s) as well as all packaging and packing materials for future inspection by carrier. If the package is not delivered within expected delivery date, please contact us immediately. We will start the investigation with carrier. In case of loss of item(s), only insured packages will be covered for replacement.

"1. I was hoping for a little higher centerline. 2. I didn’t expect a great finish on the edge but it was easy enough to sort out. 3. The head slipped on the first strike, and I never could get it tight so I rehung the handle. 4. The handle was crooked, tailing off near the palm swell. I was able to correct a lot of this when I sanded flats and narrowed the handle. 5. Rehanging gave me a chance to weigh the head, which is actually 4 pounds 2 ounces. Love the axe now that it’s sorted out. Without knowing the history on it and where it might have been stored, etc., it’s hard to assign blame."

"Very nice axe. The handle could have been hung a little nicer I think, for the money. I haven’t tried it out yet so 4/5 stars is appropriate I think. The fit isn’t 100% but it will work just fine. Very high quality steel with a bit of run out in the grain of the handle. Grain orientation is perfect."

"Hi Luke, the first Arvika I got from you, chipped the blade, the second one I got under warranty was with the longer 36" uvex handle which loosened after felling 3 trees. So I'm not real impressed with it. I got a smaller hults bruks from you which has been great and I believe they are a quality axe maker. I also want you to know that everybody at Kent have been excellent to deal with. Thanks, Phil"
