For many folks, knowing where to begin when choosing a scent for themselves or loved ones can sometimes be confusing. Some people will tell you there are rules to the perfume world, but it's simply not true. Fragrances and Colognes are a playground of self expression and experimentation. A world which encourages you to take a leap into the unknown realm of possibility, to reflect on the senses, and to add a bit of dreaminess to your life, if you dare.

A good tip to consider if trying to narrow down your choices for a fragrance is to first consider thinking of a few scenarios you'd like to see yourself wearing it in the world. What is your dream fragrance? What do you want this scent to remind you of and where will this fragrance take you?

The idea of changing your scent to reflect the changing of the seasons is a romantic way of thinking for sure, but one that we find aligns perfectly as a creative prompt when choosing a fragrance.

"Winter is for warm spices, sinking into a comfy couch and sipping a drink with friends by the fireplace. In winter I look for scents to fill my space with warmth and comfort. Whether it's the cinnamon and cardamom or a pound cake or the leather and smoke of my Grandparents old rumpus room, I want a winter scent to say "come on in, you're welcome to stay a while."

I look for fall scents that make me feel like a warm hug. A pull of fresh tobacco from a pipe, kicking away piles of poplar leaves that have covered the bike paths in the river valley and the golden hour of light on prairie fields at sundown."
