This class covers the shaving basics: how to prepare your skin and whiskers before the shave, build a great lather, proper shaving technique, and post-shave care for your skin - and for your razor!
If you do not have your own, don't fret! We have razors for you to test during the class.
The sample soap you use during class is yours to take home, along with an alum block from Kent of Inglewood.

For Internet orders our goal is to respond in 24 hours and ship the purchase as soon as possible.
Shipments crossing international borders including to the USA can be detained by the country’s customs agency and duties and taxes may be charged. These delays and charges are beyond our control.

Customs agency in each country has rights to detain and inspect packages entering the country. When the package is sent to a Customs Agent, significant delay can occur. The delay is beyond our control and Kent of Inglewood, is not authorized to investigate the status of the package. Duties and taxes may be charged according to the value of the products.

Due to international shipping regulations, we cannot send perfumes, colognes and alcohol based aftershaves to customers outside of Canada. We apologize for the inconvenience.

Loss, Breakage or Discrepancies in Shipments
If there are any problems with your order, please notify us within 48 hours of receipt. Kent of Inglewood will not be responsible for any claims made after 48 hours. For breakage resulting from carrier transit, please keep the entirety of original item(s) as well as all packaging and packing materials for future inspection by carrier. If the package is not delivered within expected delivery date, please contact us immediately. We will start the investigation with carrier. In case of loss of item(s), only insured packages will be covered for replacement.

"It is a really beneficial time for someone new to shaving (with anything other thank the traditional "bic") or someone who wants to appreciate shaving more. All my questions were answered. I learnt alot more than I had expected to. I'm really glad I did it. Make sure to come to thr class with some stubble!!!"
30 Years Cartridge Shaving to DE. A MUST!
"After using a cartridge razor for 30 years I wanted to switch to a DE razor. Needless to say after the first couple shaves I was quick frustrated. I learned a lot from the class on how to transition to DE and shave and prep properly. One thing I'd never seen on YouTube videos is how it's better to use some pressure with the shaving brush in the shaving bowl to make better lather. I thought shaving brushes were quite delicate but it turns out they're really tough. Class was worth every dollar!"

"In a barbershop charm, this backroom training was really casual and educational. I arrived early and bought a razor and didn't need to use the provided disposible razor. I recommend buying a razor and not getting too carried away with the expensive ones. I think they are very similar in durability and effectiveness."

"The class was good and I’m glad I took it. I decided to start shaving with a straight razor and I felt it was prudent to learn. It’s just a bit weird shaving with other guys in the back room of a shop. It wasn’t set up very well with no running water and little round mirrors to shave with. Don’t get me wrong, the information was great and very useful. It was just awkward."

"This class is awesome and a MUST if you want to start using a safety or straight razor. It takes place in the store, before opening hours so everyone is relaxed. Chris, from the Ottawa store, was an excellent teacher walking us through the pre-shave, shave and after-shave steps, giving pointers and pearls on technique and answering all our questions. Left with a few nicks and can only imagine what it could have been without this hands on workshop! I highly recommend the shave class."

- HI there, unfortunately we don't allow folks to learn on someone else, we just aren't setup for it or have the skills to teach how to shave someone else. We really only cover shaving oneself! - Ellie
