"Easy. I picked the Qvarfot because I am not planning to hike with it. It would have been five stars if the poll is as nice as the Aby."
"I absolutely love this axe. This may be three times the cost of a Canadian Tire axe, but it works so much better. Don't you want an axe that works as a an axe? It's sharp on arrival, holds it's edge, and it's thin blade is so much more effective at chopping. It'll go through a two inch branch in two strokes. It's also beautiful! It just feels like an item of craftsmanship – perfected over centuries. I expect to get pleasure from using this axe for the rest of my life."
"Great gift for my son. Great service and awesome products!!!"
"Slick and sharp a very very beautiful axe."
"Forget stanley thermos' and cast iron pans (for a moment at least). Buy this axe and treat it well - your grandchildren will be using it."
"Fantastic product for the price! This was day two of having this gorgeous axe. I am on the tall side and wish it had a 28" or 30 " handle but that would make it less packable. So for its size this axe has great power."
"I needed a general-purpose axe. Mainly for chopping dried firewood and kindling, but some small tree management too. I got a recommendation for this Axe from the team at Kent and have been blown away. Axe came super sharp and holds it's edge well. It's lightweight enough to take camping or tuck in the back of a car for short trips, but hefty enough to manage larger logs. If you were doing a lot of heavy-duty splitting I'd say to get something else, but this is a great general-purpose axe, and definitely that start of a collection."
"Great axe"
"Wonderful little axe. The handle needed a bit of thinning and shaping - it was overbuilt for a two pound head. Grain orientation was nearly perfect on mine, and the weight with handle comes to 2.6lbs. I’ve done some cross grain chopping and splitting with this axe, as well as making feather sticks for lighting a few fires. The edge profile wasn’t great for any specific tasks but that’s the point. It managed various tasks reasonably well which is more useful than a specialized axe for a single purpose, especially if you intend to take it on outdoor trips. Highly recommended."
