"Fantastic product. Sharp and sturdy. Would recommend."
"This axe is a thing of beauty. It was a gift for my son-in-law's birthday and he loves it. We were family camping and he brought it with him. I would recommend it."
"This is a quality axe, and a great asset while camping. The shorter handle allows for easier carry while hiking, but is still long enough to chop wood for the camp fire. It is very sharp out of the box which makes the finer kindling work easy. Thank you to the staff at Kent's for providing me educated support to ensure I made the right choice for my needs."
"I have had my axe for a few years now. I take it hunting, camping, and hiking. Works great and looks great."
"I just received the Ekelund in the mail today. I’m in northern Ontario and plan to use this for canoe tripping, trail cleaning, and general work at the moose camp. But at this point I can only speak of my first impression, out of the box. The Ekelund was well packaged with a mask, a warranty card, and a small booklet. The fit and finish looks great, and the heavy mask is a solid addition. No need for an aftermarket one. This axe is razor sharp out of the box with a mirror finish on the bevel. I’m looking forward to putting this axe to use. Thanks."
"Very high quality and beautifully built. Well balanced and a portable size for use while camping and whatnot. My one issue was that the edge seems quite soft, as it quickly sustained some damage, but then again I was not super careful about not using it to cut into things on the ground where hard objects may lie, so this is user error to a degree. The softness of the steel does mean it is easily re-sharpened with a grinding stone. Overall, well-built, if a bit pricey."
"This is a great axe, and super sharp out of the box. A little bit heavier than the well known Small Forest Axe, but in my opinion feels better in the hand."
"Beautifully constructed, expertly balanced feel in you hand. A most useful tool that I will endeavor to pass to generations after."
"Great small axe for my pack. I’m a professional trail builder and carry an axe for setting wedges while felling trees. I tested this on a 10” diameter white pine and was able to fell, limb and section the tree in short order. Comes super sharp with a mirror finish at the blade. Balance is great. Grain is perfectly aligned. Would buy again, but with a 50 year ‘lifetime’ warranty, I’ll likely have this axe the rest of my life."
"Oh my god it was the beeeeeessssssssssssssssssssssssst head I ever got!"
