Kent of Inglewood Calgary has Moved! (Across the street)

For five years Kent of Inglewood in Calgary has been getting you dirty chopping wood around a campfire and getting you clean with the finest shaving and grooming supplies we can find.

We pare proud to announce that we have moved the Calgary store with a fresh new look in a clean healthy building. Our new shop is across the street at 100B 1316 9 Avenue S.E. next to our good friends at Knifewear.

The new store boasts a fresh clean feel and still has all of your favourite products with more to come as we continue our search for the finest goods to offer. We now have a brand-new dedicated class space that will allow us to run larger classes, more frequently. Keep an eye out for “Father and Son” shave classes and axe-sharpening classes, coming soon.

The barbers of Cannibale are all settled into their new cathedral like space with 19th century Welsh church windows.

The new space has been designed by the award-winning Sarah Ward Interiors and built by Inglewood locals Ryan Murphy Construction. We jump at any chance to work with our friends, and we couldn’t have found better folks for the job. We thank them both for creating a space we just love. Let us know what you think about the new floor.

Nathan Harley Gareau

A famed cocktologist and axe man, Nathan opened the first Kent of Inglewood store in Calgary, and now spends his days writing most of what you are reading here and teaching straight razor shaving classes. Ask him about his world-famous Three Cherry Manhattan. In his spare time Nathan can be found sharpening his axe, making fermented foods, or practicing his amateur butchering hobby. He doesn't slur his words, he speaks in cursive.
