Also known as a ¾ axe, this is the classic axe head that served the frontiersman across the wilderness of the new world. With enough heft to split, and an elongated chin to aid in finer tasks, it is the jack of all trades.

Back in 1886, While John Pickett Council was in the turpentine business, he found lacking tools that we of an acceptable standard. As one would do, he decided to forge his own. Over a century later, and the work floor of the Council forge houses over 500 cumulative years of axe and tool making experience. Located still on the Council family plot on Lake Waccamaw, North Carolina; Council forges axes meant for the North American wilderness.
