These are the fine folks that make Kent of Inglewood tick.
They all have a passion for grooming and fine products, and are eager to share their knowledge with you!
Formerly of the cooking industry, Adam's love of blades makes him a natural fit in Kent of Inglewood. He’s a vegan, a husband, and he’s heavily invested in animal rescuing. Adam is also our resident axe nerd. If you ever have questions about axes or a good recipe without meat, he's the man to talk to!
Adam hosts most of our Kent of Inglewood Outdoor Moments. He has far more skill as serious survival camping, and looks like Les Stroud compared to the rest of us, so he's the man for the job. Adam covers everything from axe-sharpening to fire starting, and even campfire cooking! He also has a company called Fort Spencer Tools that refurbishes old axes for sale at Kent of Inglewood. You can see his work at @fortspencertools on Instagram.
Lordy was a chef in a former life and now captains the ship that is our Ottawa shop. His experience with pomade is second to none, and his moustache smells of Tobacco & Rosewood. He staunchly believes that a person’s life improves every time they swing an axe or strop a razor. Chris' favourite axe is the Wetterlings Hudson Bay, the axe that built Canada, and he shaves with a Thiers-Issard Snakewood.
Chris hosts our beard care classes on Instagram and Facebook, as well as Kent of Inglewood in the Morning. You can see him swinging his axe around to chop wood for his smoker by following him at @king.kappa on Instagram.
A firm believer that if you're not pulling ridiculous faces, you're shaving improperly, Leigh considers himself a straight razor evangelist. Come listen to him proselytize any time. You can pick him out by finding the one who smells like Winston Churchill - who also wore Floris Special No. 127. When not at the shop, he's probably reading something geeky or cooking, both with a scotch in hand (neat, please).
Leigh hosts many of our straight razor and safety razor shaving classes on Shave of the Day, and shares his expert advice on Kent of Inglewood Morning. He'll even pick up a safety razor on occasion!
A famed cocktologist and axe man, Nathan opened the first Kent of Inglewood store in Calgary, and now spends his days writing most of what you are reading here and teaching straight razor shaving classes. Ask him about his world-famous Three Cherry Manhattan. In his spare time Nathan can be found sharpening his axe, making fermented foods, or practicing his amateur butchering hobby. He doesn't slur his words, he speaks in cursive.
Nathan is a master of all things Kent of Inglewood, and runs classes on Shave of the Day from straight razor shaving to moustache care. You can spot him frequently on Kent of Inglewood in the Morning sharing his grooming advice, and on our Outdoor Moments talking about his favourite axes, hunting knives, and more. You can follow his adventures of amateur bushcrafting and learning to do his own butchery at @manhattanpr0ject on Instagram.
What can we say about Tiffany. One day she bought an axe from us, and then another one, and then she decided she wanted to have a wall of axes behind her all day every day. Now she's a shop staple, crushing it every day. Tiffany has no problem getting her hands dirty out and about with axes, knives, and here in the shop sharpening. When you need insight on your next outdoor excursion, give Tiffany a call.
Tiffany is our resident outdoors-person, and an expert in all things camp and bushcraft. You can catch her on Kent of Inglewood Outdoor Moments, teaching you how to featherstick like a pro.
