The Special No. 127 was created for Russia’s Grand Duke Orloff in 1890 and initially named “Orloff Special”. Later on, it was renamed after the page in the “Specials” formula book where the recipe had been recorded when it became a distinctly Floris scent. Over the years, the fragrance became a favourite with many different people, including Eva Peron and Winston Churchill. Powdery petitgrain, rose and neroli are intertwined with smoky ylang ylang and musk.
